I’ve just started working on a story with illustrations for Art House Coop’s Fiction Project. The deadline is May 24, so I don’t have much time, but there’s nothing like a deadline to get the creative juices flowing.

I love graphic novels, and have been toying with the idea of writing one for a few years now. Knowing how much work it would take to learn a new genre has stopped me from starting, but the Fiction Project has given me the kickstart I needed to put in the time, to take a risk, to try something new.
